Hey I’m Sachet! ( prounouced Sash-ay…yes I had to add that lol). This is my very own lifestyle blog that I created to inspire and educate. If that sounds like something you’re interested in, you came to the right place! Although my blog and YouTube channel are named ClassyEducatedBlack, all are welcome. I simply love and celebrate being black. I value education and I am an educator myself. I believe knowledge is power and for lack of knowledge, we as a people, perish. Education used to be a privilege reserved only for the wealthy, and in some ways, the best resources still are. However, we are now blessed with access to knowledge everywhere we go, thanks to technology. We need to seek knowledge, and use it to improve our lives, and that of those around us as much as we can.
I love having a balance in life. Modesty and having a standard in the way we carry ourselves are important, but you can also be modest and classy, especially black women such as myself. This is very beautiful and powerful. When I see other people winning, I feel like I’m winning, whether I helped them or not. We live in a world where we have to know who we are, be proud of who we are and stand up for who we are and what we believe in, regardless of the circumstances. These are the thoughts that inspired the name for my blog and YouTube channel.
